This program is a self paced online video-mediated course that is intended to teach the student the skills necessary to accurately interpret three-lead EKGs.
Participants will watch a series of video presentations and will complete corresponding assignments and take a series of quizzes.
Course content consists of cardiac anatomy and physiology, electrophysiology and interpretation of sinus, atrial, and junctional rhythms.
Additional content includes interpretation of heart blocks and ventricular rhythms, as well as applicable interventions. Additionally, the student will be introduced to 12-lead EKGs and patterns consistent with acute coronary syndrome.
